A striking and highly popular Oriental lily producing large, upward-facing, strongly fragrant flowers. The blooms are deep pink to crimson-pink, becoming paler towards the edges, with prominent darker spotting towards the centre. Strong upright stems and dramatic flowers make it an excellent choice for summer borders, containers and cutting.

Planting Instructions: Plant bulbs around 15 cm deep in autumn or spring in fertile soil enriched with leaf mould or well-rotted organic matter. Ensure good drainage and ideally position so the stems and flowers receive sun while the roots are kept cool by surrounding ground-cover plants or mulch.
Soil and Drainage Requirements: Chalk, Clay, Loam, Sandy soil; moist but well-drained, well-drained; Neutral to Alkaline
Preferred Location: Full sun, partial shade; East, South, West or North facing; Sheltered
Care: Keep adequately watered during active growth without waterlogging. Deadheading improves appearance, but retain the stems and foliage until they die back naturally. Offsets can be separated after the foliage has died down. Monitor particularly for lily beetle, aphids, slugs and snails.
