Planting and Care Information
Planting and Care Information
Planting Instructions: Plant bulbs approximately 15 cm deep in fertile, well-drained soil. For a strong display, plant in groups rather than singly.
Soil and Drainage Requirements: Clay, Loam, Sandy soil; moist but well-drained; Acid to Neutral
Preferred Location: Full sun or Partial shade; East, South or West-facing; Sheltered
Care: Water freely during active growth without waterlogging. A high-potash liquid feed approximately every two weeks during growth can encourage strong flowering. Deadhead after flowering, but retain the foliage and stems until they yellow naturally so energy returns to the bulb. Tall stems may need staking.
