A vigorous, bulbous perennial growing to around 30cm, with narrow, strap-shaped green leaves and graceful, arching flower stems. In mid to late spring, each stem bears one-sided racemes of delicately scented, nodding, tubular violet-blue flowers with strongly recurved petals and creamy white anthers, creating a natural woodland display.
