Large weighty flowers with green markings on the outer segments held by a particularly long pedicel well above the strikingly tall, usually three, lettuce green leaves.

Good increaser.
Flowering time: Jan-Feb.
Height: 20cm.
Snowdrops do best in shade or semi shade conditions and will grow well in most soils. They associate very well with Winter Aconites, Chinodoxas and Leucojums.
When clumps get too thick, they can be lifted and divided. This is best done after flowering just after the foliage dies down.
Plant 2-3″ deeps and 1″ apart.
