The outer parts are slightly curved inward and are white. The inner parts have a strong green mark at the tip that goes about halfway up. They also have two lighter lines that go outward and upward to meet the ovary. The ovary is oval-shaped and medium green.
Primrose Warburg
The plant features elegant, grey-green, strap-like leaves that curve gently outward. Its flowers are distinguished by a vivid, deep-yellow ovary at the centre. Surrounding it, the outer petals are crisp white, occasionally traced with delicate green veining, while the inner petals are adorned with a striking yellow-green marking across the notch.
reginae-olgae subs. vernalis ‘Christine’
An early-flowering form, this reginae-olgae is clearly a subspecies of vernalis. In the UK, it is often among the last r-o to come into bloom. Well-shaped and vigorous, it is also a notably fast grower.
