The A. Blandas are ideal for rockeries, around shrubs and naturalising in grass. A. nemorosa and A. ranunculoides are best in moist woodland conditions. To assit with germination of the cormous species, soak them overnight in water before planting. Add a drop of washing up liquid to the water to break surface tension.
